Why does Lamine Yamal insist on watching all Real Betis matches?

A report from the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", written by journalist Xavier Bosch, reveals that Lamine Yamal, the star of FC Barcelona, is interested in following matches of Real Betis, which he considers one of the teams he enjoys watching the most in LaLiga.

Lamine Yamal expressed his interest in following football during an interview with Jorge Valdano, noting that he watches matches from the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League, and never misses Paris Saint-Germain's games in the continental competition, alongside fixtures involving Villarreal and Real Betis in LaLiga.

The report suggests that Real Betis' style under coach Manuel Pellegrini is somewhat similar to that of FC Barcelona, as the team relies on possession and controlling the rhythm of the game through players who excel at passing, such as Isco and Pablo, while also having fast and dangerous attacking elements.

Antony stands out on the right flank and Abde Ezzalzouli on the left, thanks to their dribbling and penetration abilities, while Cucho Hernández leads the attack, thanks to his physical strength and goal-scoring instinct.

The report indicated that Real Betis is experiencing a remarkable period, having achieved two thrilling victories in the UEFA Champions League against Lille by a score of 3-2 and FC Porto by a score of 3-2, earning six points and competing with the tournament's giants, including FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid, according to the article.

Barcelona are preparing to face Real Betis, fully aware of the difficulties of playing at La Cartuja, which puts significant pressure on visiting teams. However, the physical effort exerted by Betis in their recent European match may provide the Catalan side with an opportunity to exploit their opponent's decline during the second half.
