FC Barcelona has returned to the LaLiga commission after an absence of about a year and a half, following a dispute that arose in April 2025 over the publication of economic information concerning the club, according to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo".

FC Barcelona has withdrawn from the committee after LaLiga issued a statement regarding the sale of the club's VIP boxes, subsequently sending a letter expressing its refusal to publish its financial information.

The committee will once again include FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, with the latter returning to its membership in 2024 with support from Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao. This time, it received support from Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao.

The relationship between FC Barcelona and the league has seen a notable improvement recently, as the club's president, Juan Laporta, supported Javier Tebas in the case related to the disclosure of private information, which ended without any penalty imposed on the league president.

Javier Tebas praised FC Barcelona's economic management, which allowed them to return to a 1:1 ratio in the last transfer market, contrasting with the relationship the league has with Real Madrid, which has traditionally voted against proposals during the meetings of the delegated committee.
