Guardiola watches Manchester City vs Paris from the stands
Pep Guardiola, the former manager of Manchester City, attended his former team's match against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening at the Etihad Stadium, as part of the UEFA Champions League, marking his first return to the stadium since leaving the club.
According to The Sun, Pep Guardiola received a warm welcome from Manchester City fans, who raised cards in the stand dedicated to him to form the phrase "CTID", which means "City 'til I die".
Pep Guardiola, aged 55, sat next to Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the club's chairman, and Ferran Soriano, the CEO of City Football Group, near Nasser Al Khelaifi, the president of Paris Saint-Germain.
Pep Guardiola returns after 10 years with Manchester City, during which he remained connected to the club as an ambassador for the City Football Group.
