Raja Club held to a draw by Fath before starting their African campaign
Fath Union Sport held Raja Club to a 1-1 draw in their match on Tuesday evening at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat, as part of the fourth round of the Botola Pro. Both teams settled for a single point.
Raja Club started the match well, successfully opening the scoring early on when Adel Bettaieb found the net in the 20th minute, giving his team the advantage.
Al-Fath tried to come back in the match, and Mohamed Bakhkhach managed to equalise in the 69th minute, bringing the game back to square one and giving the home side a chance to secure a positive result.
With this result, Raja Club have increased their tally to five points, placing them in fifth position in the table, while Al-Fateh have reached two points, settling in fifteenth place.
This draw comes before Raja Club's continental commitment, as the team prepares to represent Moroccan football in the CAF Confederation Cup, alongside Royal Army. They will face their Nigerian hosts El Kanemi Warriors on Sunday, October 18, in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the competition, as part of the 2026-2027 season.
