Formosinho close to sacking after Al-Fateh's struggles

Ricardo Formosinho's future as coach of Al-Fateh is in jeopardy following the team's struggles at the start of the season, as they managed only a goalless draw against their hosts Moghreb Atlético Tétouan in the match that took place on Friday evening at the Sania Rmel Stadium in Tétouan, as part of the third round of the Moroccan Professional League "Inwi" for the first division.

The Rabat team has failed to secure their first win of the season, leaving them with just one point from a possible nine. This tally increases the pressure on Formosinho and raises questions about his future at the helm of the coaching staff, given the troubled start for Fath Union Sport.

The Rabat team was close to returning with a defeat from Moghreb Atlético Tétouan, thanks to the brilliance of their goalkeeper who saved two dangerous chances, along with the crossbar intervening on two occasions, denying the hosts from scoring and claiming all three points.

The draw did not meet the ambitions of both teams, with Moghreb Atlético Tétouan raising their tally to three points, placing them in twelfth position, while Al-Fateh SC secured their first point of the season, settling in fourteenth place after three rounds.

All eyes are on the upcoming match for Fath Union Sport, who will host Raja Casablanca next Tuesday at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat. It will be a tough test for Formosinho, who will need to secure a positive result to stop the points bleeding and ease the mounting pressure on the team.
