Upcoming meeting at Raja Club decides Paco Jémez's future

Raja Club officials are set to hold a meeting with Spanish coach Paco Jémez to discuss his future at the helm of the team following a draw against Al-Fateh SC, with a score of one goal each, in the fourth round of the professional league. This result has brought renewed pressure around the club.

Questions are increasing regarding Raja Club's start to the season after the team managed to collect only five points from a possible nine in their first three matches. This tally has not met the expectations of their fans, who were hoping for a better start in terms of results and performance.

Recent results have caused dissatisfaction among some fans, who expressed their discontent with the team's performance on social media platforms such as 'Hesport' and 'Hespress'. They are calling for a review of the technical choices and for changes that would bring the club back to the path of victories, in line with ambitions to compete for titles during the current season.

This situation has cast a shadow over the future of Jiménez, as he awaits the outcome of upcoming consultations with club officials. The team needs to regain its balance and avoid losing more points in the upcoming phase.

The meeting is expected to evaluate the team's performance since the start of the season, discuss the reasons for recent setbacks, and review the tactical choices and the group's ability to overcome the difficulties that have emerged in their early matches, at a time when the fans are looking for clear decisions to restore stability to the club's environment.

These developments come ahead of an important continental fixture, as Raja Club are preparing to travel to Nigeria to face Kanemi Warriors in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Moroccan team's delegation is set to leave for Nigeria on Friday, ahead of the anticipated match on Sunday, where Raja Club aims to achieve a positive result that will give them an advantage in the qualification race, despite the pressures surrounding the Spanish coach.

Amid the assessment of the local start and preparations for the continental clash, Raja Club fans are keenly anticipating the outcome of the upcoming meeting with Chemis, to find out whether the management will continue to support the Spanish coach or will opt to change the coaching leadership in an attempt to correct the course in the upcoming period.
