Raja Club draw with Kanemi in Nigeria

Raja Club missed a valuable opportunity to secure an away win, drawing 2-2 with their hosts, Enyimba Warriors, in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday evening.

The match saw a competitive clash between the two teams, ending in a 1-1 draw at half-time, before the excitement continued in the second half, which saw two more goals scored, resulting in the match finishing without either side able to claim victory.

Statistics showed a close contest in attacking performance, with the Nigerian team taking 13 shots compared to 11 for Raja Club, while the Moroccan side had 58% possession compared to 42% for the hosts.

With this result, the qualification ticket for the next round remains in the balance until the return match, where Raja Club will look to exploit the home advantage and the support of their fans to secure victory and continue their journey in the continental competition.
