Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's head coach, expressed his satisfaction with his team's response against Leeds United after winning 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League. He emphasized that his team needed to regain its identity following the performance against Brighton.

Mikel Arteta has stated that the team focused before the match on the difficulty of the encounter, given Leeds' unbeaten run in the Premier League, as well as the need to return to their usual style. He added: "We talked before the match about two things, the first is the challenge that awaits us, because Leeds have not lost in the Premier League, and we knew the match would be very difficult. The second thing was to regain our identity and return to playing in our usual style, regardless of the circumstances of the match."

Arsenal's manager added: "We were not satisfied with our performance against Brighton, and today's match was an opportunity to correct things, and certainly, our reaction was as we expected."

Arteta spoke about his opponent, saying: "Leeds are a very well-organized team, with players who possess great physical strength, and they are committed in everything they do."

Regarding the impact of the equalizing goal on the course of the match, he explained: "When you play at home at 2:30 PM and fall behind by a goal, you have to regain a lot of things, and energy is one of them. We produced an amazing reaction, and you could feel the crowd's response; the atmosphere and energy changed immediately. The substitute players made a big difference and helped us win the match."

Regarding the changes made during the match, Arsenal's manager said: "We brought in three players with a lot of leadership qualities; they are players capable of posing a threat to the goal, winning duels, playing forward, and breaking through the opponent's defense under high pressure."

Mikel Arteta praised Bruno Guimarães' goal that secured Arsenal's victory, concluding his remarks by saying: "The timing of the execution, the understanding between the players, and the way to finish the attack, all of that was fantastic."
