Zubimendi nears departure from Arsenal as Real Madrid watches

Martín Zubimendi could be facing a new step in his career, with increasing likelihood of leaving Arsenal during the upcoming winter transfer window, as he has not been getting the playing minutes he desires.

According to the newspaper "El Nacional", a return to Madrid stands out as the strongest option for the Spanish midfielder if he decides to leave Arsenal during January.

Zubimendi wants to have a greater opportunity to participate regularly, especially with the uncertainty of his current role within Mikel Arteta's squad.

Reports suggest that Arteta will not stand in the way of the player's departure if his situation does not change in the coming period, which could open the door for a potential transfer in the middle of the season.

Arsenal are ready to explore options that could make the transfer possible if Martín Zubimendi comes to the conclusion that he needs to leave in search of a bigger role.

The player's future remains open, but the option to return to Madrid currently seems the most likely, with anticipation for what the coming weeks will bring before the winter transfer market opens.
