Manchester United move to sign Club Brugge full-back
Manchester United continue to pursue a deal for Joaquin Seys, the 21-year-old defender from Club Brugge, to strengthen the left-back position as Luke Shaw's contract nears its end.
CaughtOffside reported that Manchester United have inquired about the possibility of signing the player, and they sent their scouts to watch him again in late September after he impressed the recruitment officials.
Joaquin Seys is under contract with Club Brugge until 2029, with TEAMtalk reporting that the Belgian club is asking for around €35 million, equivalent to £30 million, to agree to his departure.
Joaquin Seys is not the only option for Manchester United, as the club is also monitoring Lewis Hall and Adrien Truffert to strengthen the left flank.
Joaquin Seys is noted for his physical abilities and technical skills, with the capability to play on both sides of defence, making him a viable option for Manchester United despite the expected cost of the deal.
