Bashir Boulomi jumps to €18 million and rises among the most expensive Algerians
Algerian international Bashir Boumali has seen a significant rise in his market value, increasing from €6 million to €18 million, a rise of €12 million, according to the latest update from the Transfermarkt platform released today, Thursday.
This increase is the largest among Algerian players in the latest update, with the Hull City forward rising to sixth place in the list of the most valuable Algerian players.
Bloumi's value has surged following his impressive performances with the Algeria national team during the current international break, where he scored two goals in matches against Burundi and Niger, contributing to a 2-2 draw against Burundi and then a 2-1 victory over Niger.
The figures reflect the rapid development of the market value of the son of Algerian football legend Lakhdar Belloumi in recent years, reaching €1.5 million in 2024 when he was a player for Farense.
In 2025, the player's value rose to €5 million after his transfer to Hull City, before continuing its upward trend and reaching €18 million in 2026.
Bachir Bloumi's market value has increased by approximately 1100% in less than three years, thanks to his remarkable development with Hull City, the team's rise to the Premier League, and his increasing presence with the Algeria national team.
Despite this significant leap, Belloumi ranks sixth among the most expensive Algerian players, behind several names, led by Ibrahim Maazah, a midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen, who tops the list with a market value of 50 million euros.
