Atlético eyeing Brighton talent Yasin Ayari amid European competition
Atlético are continuing to monitor young talents, with Swedish midfielder Yasin Ayari, who plays for Brighton, among the names that have caught the attention of the Spanish club.
Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that Atlético have identified Yasin Ayari as one of the options to strengthen their squad in upcoming transfer windows, but signing him will not be easy, especially since his contract with Brighton runs until 2027, while the English club is looking to extend it until 2028.
English media reports that Brighton want to secure between €40 million and €60 million for the player, having previously rejected significant offers for him. He is also being monitored by several European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle, and AC Milan.
Yasin Ayari, 22, has made 82 official appearances for Brighton, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. He is proficient in playing in multiple midfield positions and boasts a passing accuracy of around 90%, along with the ability to shoot from distance and reach the penalty area.
