El Shater: Al Ahly FC need a player with the qualities of Ahmed Fatouh

Former Al Ahly FC star Islam El Shater believes the team needs reinforcement at left-back in the upcoming period, considering Zamalek SC player Ahmed Fatouh an ideal option who possesses the technical and physical qualities that match the needs of the Red Giant.

Al Shater stated during his remarks on the "Al Laeeb" program: "Al Ahly FC needs a left-back with Fatouh's specifications, and if I were responsible, I would finalize the deal with him immediately in January."

The statements from Al Shater come at a time when recent hours have seen developments regarding Ahmed Fatouh's future with Zamalek SC, amid his name being linked to a transfer to Al Ahly Benghazi.

Al Ahly FC are preparing to face Petrol Asyut on Wednesday, October 7, in the first round of the Cairo Capital Cup.
