Yasser Ibrahim outlines his financial demands to renew his contract with Al Ahly FC

Yasser Ibrahim, Al Ahly FC's defender, insists on staying at the club but has set a clear financial condition amid stalled contract renewal negotiations, coinciding with receiving two offers from the Libyan Premier League.

Reports have revealed that Yasser Ibrahim wishes to continue his journey with Al Ahly FC, but he is demanding a financial compensation that he considers suitable, after the club made an offer to renew his contract worth 25 million Egyptian pounds annually, in addition to 10 million pounds linked to advertisements or certain privileges.

The report clarified that Yasser Ibrahim is refusing to consider the amount of 10 million Egyptian pounds separately from the value of his contract, insisting on adding it to his basic salary, bringing the total annual compensation to 35 million Egyptian pounds.

In contrast, Al Ahly FC has refused this request and has insisted on a fixed financial ceiling for its players' contracts, which has left the negotiations stalled without reaching a final agreement between the two parties.

In related news, the report denied the rumors about Yasser Ibrahim receiving an offer from Al-Ain, confirming that the defender has received two offers in the past period from Al-Suwaihly and Al Ahli Benghazi in the Libyan Premier League.

Yasser Ibrahim is looking to secure his future with Al Ahly FC, especially since his contract expires at the end of the current season, which gives him the right to sign with any club during the upcoming winter transfer window if no agreement is reached regarding an extension.

The management of Al Ahly FC had entered into negotiations with the player in the past period, before they became complicated due to the financial compensation and some additional clauses requested by Yasser Ibrahim.

Al Ahly FC's management previously announced that they would not present a new financial offer to Yasser Ibrahim or his teammate Mohamed Hany, after making them the last offer, which includes 25 million Egyptian pounds annually, in addition to 10 million Egyptian pounds linked to achieving titles, while Al Ahly FC insists on not modifying the structure of the offer or adding other amounts outside its terms.

A source within Al Ahly FC confirmed that "the ball is in the court of Yasser Ibrahim and Mohamed Hany", noting that the approval of either player on the offer will lead to the renewal of their contract, while each of them has the right to make the decision they see fit in case of rejection.

Reports have indicated that Al Ahly FC rejected Yasser Ibrahim's request for a special financial grant to compensate him for a previous offer from Al Shabab FC, which would have provided him with an annual salary of around $1.5 million, as the club adheres to a specific policy regarding salary caps and contract values.

On the team front, Al Ahly FC is preparing to resume its competitions following the international break, amid a busy schedule on both domestic and continental levels.

The team will begin their upcoming fixtures with a match against Petrol Asyut in the Cairo Capital Cup, before facing Zamalek on October 11 in a top clash of the sixth round of the Egyptian League at Cairo Stadium, with the match kicking off at 8 PM Cairo time.

Al Ahly FC continue their preparations for their continental campaign as they face Ugandan side Kitarra in the Round of 32 of the CAF Confederation Cup, part of a series of fixtures awaiting the team throughout October.
