The truth about Al Ahly's negotiations to sign Bank El Ahly duo

Bank El Ahly president Ashraf Nassar has denied recent reports regarding Al Ahly's interest in signing duo Mahmoud El Gazar and Ali Hamdi, confirming that there are no official or verbal negotiations in this regard.

Ashraf Nassar, in statements to journalist Karim Ramzy via "Mega FM" radio, said: "There are no negotiations, near or far, from Al Ahly to sign Ali Hamdi or Mahmoud El Gazar, and everything reported in the media is incorrect."

Bank El Ahly's president clarified that the relationship between the two clubs is proceeding normally, denying any disputes. He added: "Our relationship with Al Ahly is at its best, contrary to what has been said, and my personal relationship with Captain El Khatib is also at its best, as well as with the other members of Al Ahly's board."

He added: "Every club looks after its own interests, and we will not stand in the way of any player who receives an offer that suits Bank El Ahly and suits the player, and in the end, we look at the interests of Bank El Ahly."
