FC Barcelona eyes standout talent in Swedish league
FC Barcelona are monitoring Norwegian player Bo Hejland, the attacking midfielder of Djurgården, following his impressive performances in goal creation this season.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", a Barcelona scout was present at 3 Arena last Monday to watch the player during the Djurgården match against Gais Gothenburg, in the 21st round of the Swedish league.
Haaland contributed to his team's victory with two goals, assisting the first for Christian Lien and scoring the second himself. In 21 league matches, the 22-year-old player has scored 8 goals and provided 15 assists, placing him among the top 15 assist providers in Europe for 2026.
Haaland excels in set-piece execution and is proficient with his right foot. He stands 1.85 meters tall and is contracted to Djurgården until 2029, with a market value of €2.5 million according to Transfermarkt.
The player joined Djurgården in 2025 from Norwegian club Moss, having previously played for Frigg, and had a stint with US Lecce's U19 team. His name has been linked with interest from Newcastle, RSC Anderlecht, and Atlético.
