Aubameyang maintains Deportivo's unbeaten record

Deportivo La Coruña maintained their unbeaten record in La Liga after securing a valuable 1-1 draw at Getafe in the fifth round of the competition, thanks to another goal from Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Getafe took the lead in the 66th minute when Carles Aleñá found the net after exchanging passes with Iván Azón, putting Deportivo in a difficult position in the closing minutes.

However, Aubameyang, who is 37 years old, continued his impressive form since returning to Spanish football, managing to equalise in the 78th minute with a header after a precise cross from Yeremy Pino, marking his fifth goal in five consecutive rounds.

With this draw, Deportivo continued their unbeaten run under coach Antonio Hidalgo, while Aubameyang denied Getafe their second win of the season, proving once again that he is having an exceptional start with the team from La Coruña.
