Flick: We succeeded in surviving against Levante, and this is what I had to do

Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, spoke about the victory over Levante, expressing his happiness with the result. However, he admitted his responsibility for the first goal the team conceded, emphasizing the need to learn from the difficulty of the match.

Flick reflected on the match, stating that the best part was the start. He said, "We knew it wouldn't be easy, and there are no excuses. The first goal was my fault; I wanted to wait until the break to make changes, and I should have done it earlier."

He added: "We have to fight and survive these matches, there are things we need to improve, and we will talk about them, but I am satisfied with the result of the match, they had a good second half, but I am happy."

Regarding the lesson learned from the match, Flick said: "We will analyze the match, as we always do, we want to perform better in the next game, in every match the same thing happens, if you do not give 100% of your effort, things like this can happen, but we survived."

Regarding the penalty taker, Flick explained: "I have nothing to do with this matter, it is up to Fede Valverde and they decide who is best, whoever is ready takes it, everyone is qualified and ready to score penalties."

Flick praised Karim Adeyemi, saying: "In this situation, he gave us his best, scored the goal and decided the match, he fought, and they were playing at home."
