Espart continues to shine and scores his first goal with FC Barcelona

Xavi Espart continues to shine with FC Barcelona, scoring his first goal for the team during the match against Levante, in his fourth start in five rounds of the league.

Xavi Espart opened the scoring for FC Barcelona in the 6th minute, after receiving the ball from Raphinha inside the penalty area, and he shot with his right foot into the net against Levante.

The 19-year-old player is gaining increasing trust from Hans Flick, as he has become more present than João Cancelo and Alejandro Balde, who have not participated so far.

Flick had compared Espart months ago to German legend Philipp Lahm, and the FC Barcelona player succeeded in scoring his first goal for the team after 11 official matches, while Lahm needed 26 matches with Bayern Munich to reach his first goal.

Xavi Espart has joined FC Barcelona at the age of eight from UE Vilassar de Mar, and he seems to be continuing his steps towards securing his place with the first team.
