Tottenham suffer major blow due to Mudryk
Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk has suffered a serious setback with Tottenham after sustaining an ankle injury during training, according to The Sun.
Mykhailo Mudryk, 25 years old, has joined Tottenham on loan from Chelsea on the last day of the transfer window. He made his debut for the team during the goalless draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, coming on as a late substitute.
The Sun reported that this was Mykhailo Mudryk's first official match appearance in 20 months, following the end of his suspension from the FA, while a picture showed him wearing a protective boot on his left foot.
The player is expected to miss the match against Everton on Saturday, as well as the two matches against Liverpool in the EFL Cup and Aston Villa in the Premier League, with a return anticipated after the upcoming international break.
