Tottenham move for Youssouf Fofana amid Juventus competition
Tottenham have made initial contacts with AC Milan to explore the possibility of signing French midfielder Youssouf Fofana, currently on loan at Sevilla, amid similar interest from Juventus, according to TEAMtalk.
Youssouf Fofana, 27, is delivering impressive performances with Sevilla after regaining his form in LaLiga, and he has become one of the standout players for the team this season.
The player is under contract with AC Milan for two more years, but the Italian club wants to sell him during the summer of 2027, while Sevilla is facing difficulties in securing his permanent transfer due to his high salary.
AC Milan signed Youssouf Fofana in 2024 for €25 million and may seek a similar amount, although they have not yet specified their financial demands.
Tottenham's stance on strengthening their midfield remains unclear after spending significant amounts to sign Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, amid speculation surrounding Lucas Bergwijn's future.
