Manchester United and Tottenham compete to sign Tresoldi
Manchester United and Tottenham are competing to sign German Nicolò Tresoldi, a forward from Club Brugge, after representatives from both clubs were present in Belgium to watch him during the match against Aston Villa, according to TEAMtalk.
Nicolò Tresoldi, 22, participated in the match that Club Brugge lost 3-2, scoring his team's goal from a penalty.
Tottenham are interested in the player as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to add a new striker, while Manchester United continue to search for attacking options after failing to sign a forward during the summer.
Nicolò Tresoldi has impressed at Club Brugge since his move from Hannover, scoring 23 goals last season, attracting interest from several European clubs, including FC Barcelona, who have held talks about signing him.
Manchester United are continuing to monitor Joaquín Sosa, a player from Club Brugge, whom the club previously inquired about during the summer.
