SS Lazio officially announces signing of Portuguese defender Diogo Leite

SS Lazio have officially announced the signing of Portuguese defender Diogo Felipe Monteiro Bento on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract with 1.FC Union Berlin on June 30, 2026.

The Italian club SS Lazio has clarified that Lety has signed a two-year contract, extending until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend the contract for an additional two seasons.

The Portuguese defender joins SS Lazio after the end of his stint with 1.FC Union Berlin, embarking on a new phase in his career in Serie A.

The signing of Lety comes as part of Lazio's efforts to bolster their ranks, with the club relying on the experience of the 27-year-old defender to support the backline during the new season.
