Gennaro Gattuso, the head coach of SS Lazio, has stressed the importance of approaching the upcoming match against Parma with seriousness and focus, asserting that underestimating the opponent poses the greatest risk to his team, regardless of previous results. He pointed out that achieving victories requires desire, fighting spirit, and constant pressure from the very first minutes.

Gattuso said during the press conference before the match: "We have only one way, which is to enter with the right mentality and a real desire, to get to the ball first and play hard. We accept mistakes because they are part of football, but the biggest mistake is to underestimate the opponent," citing Parma's ability to create many chances against Torino despite being two goals down, and stressing the need to maintain focus throughout the match.

The Italian coach expressed pride in his players' performances, explaining that he does not celebrate victories much due to his constant focus on upcoming challenges. He praised the team's spirit and the players' commitment in training. He also confirmed that Gustav Isaksen possesses exceptional potential and speed, but he needs to focus on recovery and rehabilitation to maintain his physical readiness. Additionally, he noted that Danilo Cataldi has been in good condition for about 10 days, and his lack of participation is due to tactical choices.

Regarding the injured players, Gattuso has revealed that the club hopes Albert Gudmundsson will return to running without pain in 10 days, with the possibility of him being ready before the match against Napoli. Meanwhile, Nicolò Rovella and Adam Marusic are expected to start partial training with the group in 4 or 5 days, with Gattuso confirming his refusal to rush the players back for fear of them suffering new setbacks. Taylor's situation will be determined after assessing his physical condition in the coming hours.
