Neom beats Al-Hilal 2-0 in Saudi Pro League

Neom defeated their hosts Al-Hilal 2-0 in the match that took place on Monday evening, as part of the sixth round of the Saudi Pro League, achieving a remarkable victory over the leaders of the competition.

Neom opened the scoring in the 15th minute after Kalidou Koulibaly, the Al-Hilal defender, mistakenly put the ball into his own net, giving the visitors an early advantage.

Amadou Koné doubled Niom's advantage just before half-time, scoring the second goal in the 45th minute to send his team into the break with a two-goal lead.

Al Hilal's lineup saw a forced change before the match as Moroccan Yassine Bounou felt pain in his hamstring, leading him to leave the starting XI after the warm-up.
