Union's coach Jens Wissing is monitoring the situation of five players ahead of the upcoming match against Al-Hilal, as preparations continue for the highly anticipated game in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League.


The coach is monitoring the readiness of Hassan Kadesh and Nigerian George Elinikhina after their return from international duty with Saudi Arabia and Nigeria to determine their availability for the match against Al-Hilal.


Ahmed Sharahili and Malian Mohamedou Doumbia continue their rehabilitation program at the Ittihad clinic; the former is recovering from a tear in the left ankle ligament, while the latter is completing his rehabilitation after cruciate ligament surgery.


Ahmed Al-Julaydan has regained his fitness after completing his rehabilitation program and returning to team training, making him available for the coaching staff ahead of the upcoming match against Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.


Al-Ittihad sit second in the Saudi Pro League with 17 points from 7 matches, just one point behind leaders Al-Hilal, who will host them on Saturday, October 10, at 9 PM, as part of the eighth round.
