Liverpool sign Djeilyan Nguisan and loan him to Stade Brestois 29
Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign young French forward Djeilyan Ngissan from Saint-Étienne, with the player set to officially join the Reds in January.
Liverpool have loaned Nguisan to Stade Brestois 29 until the end of the 2026-2027 season, in order to give him a greater opportunity to participate and gain experience before moving to the Premier League.
Néjisan is 18 years old and successfully progressed through the Saint-Étienne academy before making his first-team debut in January 2025, where he played 13 matches and scored one goal.
The French forward is considered one of the most promising talents, having participated with France in the FIFA World Cup U-20 2025 and being selected for the UEFA European Championship U-17 team after scoring four goals. Liverpool continue their policy of investing in young talents.
