Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Alex Scott, the AFC Bournemouth midfielder, after the Spanish club closely monitored the player in recent weeks, according to TEAMtalk.

Scott, who is 23 years old, made his first start for the England national team during the 7-0 victory over Croatia, with Real Madrid among the clubs and scouts who followed the match, amid interest in the player.

The same source confirmed that Scott was one of the main reasons behind Real Madrid's presence, having seen the player on at least three occasions, including AFC Bournemouth's match against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Europa League in Spain last month, prompting the club to begin considering the possibility of escalating their interest in him.

Scott is attracting interest from Chelsea, who have been following him for a while, alongside Liverpool. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are considering the possibility of moving to sign him in 2027. AC Milan are also keeping an eye on the player, but they are aware that his asking price exceeds £75 million.

In contrast, AFC Bournemouth are working to extend Alex Scott's contract and are determined not to allow his departure during the January transfer window. With increasing interest from major clubs, the player could become a focal point of intense competition in the upcoming summer transfer market, especially with Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Liverpool among the most interested.
