Fabrizio Romano: The change we desperately needed will happen soon

Fabrizio Romano, one of the most prominent journalists in the world of football, posted a message of thanks on his official Instagram account, in which he revealed his preparations for a significant change in his working style. He will announce the details of this change and his new vision in the upcoming period.

Romano said in his message: "It has been a very long summer, extremely long, starting from the FIFA World Cup, then the transfer news that never stopped, two or three hours of sleep only, different time zones, big exclusive news, and emotional moments."

He added: "The amount of work that was done behind the scenes was insane, so I can't thank my friends enough for being part of this journey. The mission has always been the same: to provide daily content of the best quality and accuracy, whether about FIFA World Cup matches or transfer news, without stopping, every day and every night."

He added: "There is always a post... there is always a video on YouTube, and there is always an exclusive story that we need to go after. There will be time to talk about the numbers, as achieving over 60 billion views in just three months on Instagram feels like a miracle, and I still can't believe it after this huge amount of work."

"But what makes me feel proud is having my friends as a team, feeling the passion of football fans every day, and knowing that they might try to manipulate my work and the efforts I put in... but the facts will always, always be stronger than empty words. I am very proud of that."

He continued: "The change we desperately needed will happen soon, a different approach, and a new vision to provide the best possible football content. I will share more details soon, but today is just a time to give thanks."

He added: "Thank you all for following us, and thanks to everyone close to this project for their help, and thanks to the partners, because we are here achieving crazy numbers, all for free always... there are no paywalls, no paid TV service... and now we are preparing for a new chapter of this journey...".
