Vikri stated that Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras is currently competing on three fronts: the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the Copa Libertadores, and the Copa do Brasil, which could give Sancho the opportunity to regain his form and maintain his presence in the England national team's radar.

Sancho has become a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired this summer, following a difficult period since his move from Borussia Dortmund for around £73 million in 2021, which was followed by loan spells at Dortmund, Chelsea, and Aston Villa.
