FC Barcelona monitors Palmeiras talent
FC Barcelona are monitoring Eduardo Coudet, a player from Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, as they have sent scouts to assess his performance during the Friendship Tournament organized by UEFA in Nyon, Switzerland.
Sport reports that 17-year-old Concesão is one of the rising talents at Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, attracting interest from several top clubs. The player shone at the start of the tournament by scoring a goal in Brazil's 6-0 victory over Canada, before losing to Spain 3-1 and winning against Côte d'Ivoire 2-1.
Despite interest from FC Barcelona, the club has not yet taken any official steps to sign the player, waiting for him to turn 18, while Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras has moved to secure his future with a professional contract that includes a release clause of €100 million.
FC Barcelona continues to monitor the development of Conceição, especially as some sources indicate a slowdown in his progress, which has led the club to observe him directly in Nyon to assess his current level.
