Crystal Palace are considering signing Frenchman Anthony Martial on a free transfer during the upcoming period, following the forward's departure from CF Monterrey.

According to reports, intermediaries representing Anthony Martial are in contact with several Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace, to discuss the possibility of the player returning to England.

Anthony Martial has become a free agent since June, after ending his contract with CF Monterrey by mutual consent, allowing him to join any club outside the transfer window. He is currently considering several offers and options available to him.

The French forward has extensive experience in the Premier League, having spent nine years with Manchester United, during which he played over 300 matches and scored 90 goals, before having stints with Sevilla, AEK Athens, and CF Monterrey.
