Aston Villa officially announces signing of Taylor Harwood-Bellis

Aston Villa have officially signed England international Taylor Harwood-Bellis from Southampton in a permanent transfer, according to the club's official website.

Harwood-Bellis graduated from Manchester City's academy and had loan spells with Blackburn and Anderlecht before helping Burnley win the EFL Championship title in 2023.

In the following season, the 24-year-old defender contributed to Southampton's promotion to the Premier League before joining the club permanently.

Harwood-Bellis has won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship with England, before making his senior international debut in 2024, where he scored a goal in his first appearance against the Republic of Ireland.
