Lyon set price for Pavel Sulc amid Tottenham and Aston Villa interest

Czech forward Pavel Soucek, who plays for Olympique Lyon, has come under the radar of Tottenham and Aston Villa, with both clubs keen to strengthen their attack during the upcoming winter transfer window.

CaughtOffside reports that both clubs are monitoring Solch, who is 25 years old, following his performances since moving to Olympique Lyon from Viktoria Plzeň in the summer of 2025.

The Czech international has played 45 matches for Olympique Lyon, contributing to 24 goals, while his ability to play as an attacking midfielder and on the wings has attracted interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Tottenham have been monitoring the player since his time at Viktoria Plzeň, while Aston Villa see him as a potential addition to the attacking midfielder position. His ability to play on the flanks also provides Unai Emery with tactical flexibility.

Souchal's contract with Olympique Lyon runs until 2029, but the French club will not agree to his departure for less than €50 million, despite his estimated value being around €20 million.
