Zakaria Ouhani joins Hamburger SV

Moroccan international Zakaria Wahdi has ended his association with KRC Genk, officially signing with Hamburger SV to begin a new phase in his professional career after spending several years in Belgian football.

Sasha Tavolieri has revealed via the 'X' platform that Al-Wahdi has successfully passed his medical tests ahead of his transfer, before officially signing his contract with the German club, where he will wear the number 7 shirt.

The fixed value of the deal is €8 million, with the total amount potentially rising to €12 million if various incentives and bonuses outlined in the agreement between Hamburg and KRC Genk are met.

KRC Genk has managed to include a clause that guarantees them a share of the player's future resale value, which could provide them with additional financial returns if Al-Wahidi transfers from Hamburg to another club.

On the contract front, the Moroccan player will be linked with Hamburg for five years, until the summer of 2031, and personal terms have been agreed that will place him among the highest earners among the new arrivals at the club.

Al-Wahidi, aged 24, departs KRC Genk after making 116 appearances, during which he scored 20 goals and provided 13 assists, bringing an end to a remarkable experience in Belgian football.
