AS Roma freeze Luis Henrique deal and turn attention to Jamie Leweling
Negotiations between AS Roma and Brazilian Luis Henrique have not progressed despite a verbal agreement since Sunday evening, putting the deal at risk of not being completed before the transfer window closes.
According to the latest updates, AS Roma have decided to explore other options to bolster their wing, with Jamie Leweling of Stuttgart emerging as one of the prominent names on the Italian club's agenda.
AS Roma had made an offer to sign Lieweling, but Stuttgart rejected the initial bid, which was valued at around €40 million, while German reports indicate that the club is asking for a fee between €50 million and €55 million to part with their player.
AS Roma continue their transfer market activities as the deadline approaches, with Luis Henrique, Luyweling, and Jamie Gittens among the options. Meanwhile, coach Gian Piero Gasperini is seeking a new winger before the market closes.
