Sami Al-Trabelsi: Player returns are beneficial for us as we aim for victory against Mosul

Tunisian police team coach Sami Al-Trabelsi confirmed that the recent victory over Al-Jawlan provided an important morale boost for the team, noting that the return of injured players will give the coaching staff greater options to support their campaign in the upcoming rounds.

This came during the press conference preceding the "Qithara"'s clash against Al-Mosul tomorrow, Sunday, August 30, at the Al-Qafas Stadium in Baghdad, as part of the fourth round of the Iraq Stars League.

Atheer's coach spoke candidly about the team's current situation, praising the recent result but emphasizing that there is significant work ahead.

The Tunisian coach said:

"Despite the recent and important win against the Golan team, there are some aspects that need correction. With the return of players and the rise in technical level, we look forward to continuing our development and achieving better results in the upcoming rounds."

He added:

"All matches are difficult, especially at the start of the league. All teams have struggled with the intensity of the competition, but as for our team, we are capable of avoiding mistakes and enhancing the positives."

Atheer Salih addressed the main issue currently facing the team, which is the lack of attacking effectiveness.

"The puzzling aspect for us is not scoring, despite the fact that we reached the opponent's goal many times and had several chances. But with the return of our stars, we will be able to overcome this phase."

He concluded his speech:

"Our preparations continue for each match, and as the rounds progress, our ideas will become clearer to the players, and they will be able to apply all the duties assigned to them."

Atheer Salih has confirmed that the Al-Shorta team has moved on from their last victory and is now seriously focusing on the upcoming match against Mosul.

The midfielder added:
