In a press conference filled with confidence and realism, the coaching staff of Al-Shorta, led by Hussein Abdulwahed and star Maytham Jabbar, announced the full readiness of the Green Lantern to face Al-Hussein of Irbid, Jordan, tomorrow evening, Tuesday, in the third round of the AFC Champions League. They confirmed their aim to secure a positive decisive point and ensure the top spot in the Asian group, benefiting from the support of their fans in Baghdad.

Al-Shorta's coach Hussein Abdulwahid emphasized in the press conference that the upcoming match holds significant importance considering the busy schedule of matches both locally and continentally. He pointed out that the coaching staff is looking to demonstrate a higher tactical organization, relying on the players' readiness and high spirits.

Abdulwahid emphasized that the recent victory in the Baghdad derby against Al Zawraa provided the team with a valuable morale boost, but he stressed the importance of closing that chapter completely and focusing entirely on tomorrow's match to please the Iraqi fans by delivering a performance worthy of the name of the national team.

The head coach of Al-Naqba has highlighted his thorough study of the Jordanian opponent, emphasizing that he has comprehensive information about the lineup of Al-Hussein, which includes players who have previously played in the Iraq Stars League. He confirmed that Al-Naqba is not participating just to be present but is playing with the aim of competing and leaving a strong mark, as it has done in its previous continental commitments.

Abdul Wahid praised the ongoing support provided by the Minister of Interior Yasser Al-Maliki, expressing his hope to meet all the team's requirements during the upcoming challenges.

The coach revealed that three key players will miss tomorrow's match, as Al-Shorta will be without the services of Abbas Fadhil due to injury, and Ahmed Zero, who has recently returned from injury, is not fully fit. Additionally, Abdulmajid Abu Bakr will be absent due to disciplinary suspension, with hopes of their return in the upcoming matches.

For his part, the team's defender Maytham Jabbar stressed the importance of the continental encounter, explaining that the lute has succeeded in writing the perfect start by achieving two consecutive victories in the first two rounds of the AFC Champions League. The main goal against Al-Hussein is to secure the third win in a row to achieve a full score.

Maytham Jabbar emphasized that all players are aware of the responsibility placed upon them and their focus is entirely on securing the three points that will enhance the team's chances and ensure successful qualification for the next round.
