Senegalese Ibrahima Mbaye is preparing to complete his transfer to Aston Villa, as he is set to undergo the first part of his medical today, with the remaining procedures to be finalized on Sunday.

Italian journalist "Fabrizio Romano" revealed on his X account that Mbaye will undergo initial medical tests at Aston Villa, paving the way for the completion of the deal for €55 million.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Senegalese player has obtained his travel permit, allowing him to head to England and complete the transfer process to the club.

Mbaye is set to undergo the first part of his medical today, before completing his transfer to Aston Villa on Sunday.

The deal is approaching its final stages, awaiting the completion of medical examinations and remaining procedures to finalize the player's transfer to the English club for €55 million.
