Martinez Open to Chelsea Move

Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez has expressed his agreement to move to Chelsea, as the London club aims to secure a new keeper before the transfer window closes.

According to "CaughtOffside", Martinez is interested in joining Xabi Alonso's project and hopes to finalize the deal during the remaining period of the transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Martinez has said "yes" to a move to Chelsea, and he is now open to completing the transfer, while he awaits the club's stance on starting official negotiations with Aston Villa.

Chelsea's management is still discussing the transfer internally, as they seek an experienced goalkeeper who can provide an immediate boost to the team.

Chelsea's interest in Martinez has emerged following increasing concerns about Robert Sanchez's performances. The Guardian noted that issues regarding the goalkeeper position persist despite the team's 3-2 victory over Fulham.

Tottenham, who were previously linked with the Argentine goalkeeper, is currently not in the running to sign him, having become satisfied with their goalkeepers Antonin Kinski and Martin Dubravka.
