Statements from Mo'tamed Gamal after Zamalek's win over Al Ahly FC

Zamalek SC's coach, Ma'thmed Jamal, spoke about his team's impressive 3-0 victory over Al Ahly Bank on Wednesday evening in the second round of the Premier League.

Jamal said at the press conference after the match: "We started the last match against Al Ittihad well and missed many chances, and in today's match against the bank, the performance in the first half was not up to the required level."

He added: "We made some adjustments in the second half against the bank, we looked better and delivered a good 45 minutes, and we hope that the performance in the upcoming matches will be better throughout both halves."

He added: "We were fortunate with the substitutions we made in the match, and I substituted Ahmed Fatouh at half-time due to him receiving a yellow card in the first half, along with substituting some players due to fatigue."

He continued: "Matches help players return to match form, and we are working on correcting the mistakes and negatives that appear in the encounters, and this is very natural. Luck was on Zamalek's side in today's match."

He added: "Chico Banza is participating in matches gradually and will get more time in the upcoming matches, especially since he is one of the key players in the team."

Mo'tamed Jamal concluded by saying: "It is very possible that some players may not perform well after a long break, and I trust my players and bet on their ability to win the league title."
