Mahaoud Fouad has announced a strict financial penalty for three Zamalek SC players following controversial events involving the team in Rwanda after their match against the Rwandan Army.

Fouad explained during a phone call with journalist Mohamed Tarek Aida on the "El Match" program via "Sada El Balad" channel that Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the team's official, allowed players to go buy some necessities, including coffee and canned products, from a nearby store to the hotel where Zamalek SC's delegation was staying in Rwanda.

The sports critic noted that the crisis began when an official observed the absence of some players, leading to the revelation that Mostafa El Zenary, Ahmed Sherif, and a third player had gone to a nightlife venue. The players quickly left the venue upon being surprised by the presence of Zamalek SC fans there.

Fouad stated that Zamalek SC fans informed Abdel Nasser Mohamed about the incident, which led to a significant financial penalty imposed on the three players, amounting to around 750,000 Egyptian pounds for each player, according to his report.

The financial penalty aims to enforce discipline and commitment within the team, as the management seeks to create a stable environment ready for the strong upcoming challenges in the season.
