Tottenham Finalizes Savinio Deal, Nears Marmoush Signing
Tottenham Hotspur is close to finalizing a deal for Brazilian winger Savinho, coming from Manchester City, in a massive transfer that is nearing a total value of €100 million, which would make it the most expensive sale in the history of the English club.
According to the available information, both parties have reached a preliminary agreement regarding the transfer of the Brazilian player, with the possibility of finalizing the deal within this week, pending the resolution of some outstanding details between the clubs.
Manchester City and Tottenham have agreed on the transfer of Savinho for a fixed fee of €93.3 million, along with €5.7 million in performance-related incentives, bringing the total potential value to around €100 million.
If the deal is completed at this value, Savinio will surpass the current record for the most expensive player sold by Manchester City, which is the transfer of Argentine Julián Álvarez to Atlético Madrid for €75 million.
Omar Marmoush is reportedly entering the fray in the ongoing transfer discussions. His involvement could significantly impact the negotiations as clubs look to bolster their squads.
Negotiations between Tottenham and Manchester City haven't stopped at Savinho, as the London club has also shown interest in signing Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush, who is currently in advanced talks regarding a move to another club in the Premier League.
According to details of the proposed operation, the two deals could see Tottenham and Manchester City in a dual agreement, with the total value of the transactions, including fixed amounts and incentives, expected to reach around €151 million.
The completion of Savinho and Marmoush's transfers remains tied to the resolution of final details between the parties, with expectations to close the deal in the coming days.
