Al Qadsiah has announced the completion of their contract with Dutch international Tijjani Reijnders, arriving from Manchester City, on a deal that extends until 2031.

The Dutch midfielder arrived in Khobar today, Wednesday, after signing the contracts, to begin a new phase with Al-Qadisiyah following his recent experience in the English league.

The transfer fee is reported to be around $71 million, making Rainders one of the standout signings made by Al Qadisiyah during the current summer transfer window.

Ryan Gravenberch is 28 years old and participated with the Netherlands in the 2026 World Cup. He also played 47 matches with Manchester City across all competitions last season.

The player delivered standout performances during his final season with the English team, having scored 15 goals, before departing Manchester City amid significant changes in the midfield.

Reinders previously excelled with AC Milan, earning the title of Best Midfielder in Serie A for the 2024-2025 season, after winning the Super Cup and finishing as runner-up in the domestic cup.

Qadsia continues to build a strong team under the guidance of Northern Irishman Brendan Rodgers, featuring prominent names such as Nacho Fernandez, Julian Quinones, and Mateo Retegui.

The signing of Rainders comes as Al Qadsiah gears up for their inaugural AFC Champions League campaign, having finished last season in fourth place.

Al Qadsiah is gearing up to take on Al Ittihad in the second round of the Roshen League on Friday, before kicking off their Asian campaign against Al Wasl from the UAE on September 14.
