Potential Swap Deal Between Milan and Manchester City

AC Milan is searching for a solution regarding the future of Portuguese winger Rafael Leão, amid difficulties in finding a club willing to pay €50 million, plus add-ons, for his services.

According to "Sport Mediaset", Jorge Mendes is looking to arrange a swap deal that would see Rafael Leao move to Manchester City, along with a financial sum, in exchange for Portuguese defender Ruben Dias joining AC Milan.

Mendes is working on shaping Milan's strategy in the current summer transfer market, having contributed to the arrivals of coach Ruben Amorim and striker Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain, alongside Diego Moreira.

According to the same source, the proposal suggests that Liao will move to Manchester City in exchange for AC Milan receiving Ruben Dias, along with an additional financial sum in the deal.

AC Milan has signed Mario Gila from Lazio, but they are still looking for additional reinforcements in the backline, especially players who can adapt to Amorim's style. At the same time, Ruben Dias has been linked with a potential move to Real Madrid this summer.

Ruben Dias joined Manchester City from Benfica in 2020 for €71.6 million, and his contract with the English club runs until June 2029. The Portuguese defender turned 29 last May.
