Official: Ali Youssef Leaves Nantes for Ittihad Tripoli

French club Nantes has announced today, Thursday, the permanent departure of Libyan defender Ali Youssef, following an agreement reached with the player and Al-Ittihad Tripoli regarding his transfer to the Libyan side.

Youssef, aged 25, joined Nantes last January from Tunisian club Africain, embarking on a short experience in French football before returning to Libya through Al-Ittihad Tripoli.

During his time with the French team, the Libyan defender participated in 13 matches in Ligue 1, before his experience with the club came to an end this summer.

Recent French reports indicated that the transfer deal was nearing completion, with a transfer fee estimated at around one million euros, before Nantes officially confirmed the player's departure.
