Zamalek to Host Djibouti Champion Matches in Cairo
Zamalek has succeeded in moving the first leg match of the African Champions League preliminary round against Djibouti's AS Port to Egypt, with both teams set to play home and away matches at Cairo International Stadium.
The first leg matches of the African Champions League qualifying round will be held from September 4 to 6, while the return fixtures are scheduled for September 11 to 13.
The winner of the match between Zamalek and the Djibouti champion will face the winner of the matches between the Democratic Republic of Congo's Eagles and the Rwandan National Army in the second preliminary round.
Zamalek secured the Egyptian Premier League title last season (2025-2026), allowing the club to compete in the upcoming Champions League.
