Enzo Marisca, Manchester City's head coach, stated that the early goal conceded by his team against Arsenal was a significant turning point in the match, following their 3-0 loss in the FA Community Shield.

Mariska stated in an interview with the BBC: "I think the goal we conceded after 25 seconds unfortunately affected the match at that moment. After the goal, our reaction was very good, and before they scored their second goal, we had three or four chances to equalize, but unfortunately, we conceded the second goal and things became more complicated."

Regarding the early goal, he said: "I feel frustrated about that because the level of both teams in this type of match is very close, and when you concede a goal, it becomes difficult. But I think our response after the first goal was very good, and we created chances, although the result became more challenging after the second goal."

He added about his team's performance away from the goals: "After the first goal, I was quite happy because we didn't concede any more goals, and we created three or four chances to equalize, but unfortunately, we conceded the second goal, and there was a mistake in that moment, but this is just the beginning."

He added: "Starting next Sunday, we will begin the Premier League competitions, and then we must focus on that."

Mariska concluded his remarks by stating: "We have many things we need to work on. The season has just started, and there are plenty of areas we need to improve. Even when we win matches, there will always be things we need to do better."
