Barcelona inquire about Doku

Reports have revealed that FC Barcelona has contacted Manchester City through intermediaries to discuss the possibility of signing Belgian winger Jérémy Doku during the upcoming summer transfer window, as part of the Catalan club's early moves to strengthen their squad.

According to reports, FC Barcelona has informed Manchester City officials of its readiness to explore the possibility of a swap deal involving the transfer of Jérémy Doku to the Catalan team, rather than relying solely on purchasing the player for a monetary fee.

This move comes as FC Barcelona studies a number of potential scenarios in the transfer market, looking into opportunities for swap deals with Manchester City during the upcoming summer, in line with their plans to strengthen the team.

The news coincides with ongoing debate regarding the case against Manchester City, related to 114 alleged breaches of the Premier League's financial rules, as the club could face penalties if found guilty.

Among these penalties are point deductions, relegation to the first division in England, as well as financial fines and public reprimands.
