Paris Saint-Germain has won the award for Best Club in the World for 2026 at the Ballon d'Or ceremony held in London, adding another accolade to the Parisian club's record on the global football stage.
Paris Saint-Germain's crowning came after competition with four other clubs: English side Arsenal, German club Bayern Munich, Norwegian team Bodø/Glimt, and Brazilian side Flamengo.
Ousmane Dembélé, the star of the French team, received the award on behalf of the club, in the context of celebrating Paris Saint-Germain's achievements and what it has accomplished during the past period.
Dembélé said after receiving the award: "This is the second time in two years that we have won this award, it is exceptional by all standards."
The French star added: "We have succeeded in building a remarkable group and a great club, and we want to provide enjoyment for the fans and everyone who follows football, even neutral people."
Dembélé concluded his statements with a message to the team's critics, saying: "Of course, we also want to entertain those who hate us, and we thank you all."
